Here you will find the price overview for overnight stays and meals with half board or full board.
The person making the reservation is decisive for the group rate. If the reservation is made by members of the University of Basel, all guests pay the prices for members of the University of Basel. The minimum course registration is twelve adults - twelve people will be charged if the course registration is lower. The Zschokke-Haus is only rented to one group at a time.
Guests at the Zschokke-Haus can choose between half board and full board.
Half board
Half-board includes two meals a day, breakfast and dinner. Breakfast gives you a good start to the day, while dinner is a leisurely way to end the day. Lunchtime is free for you to explore the surrounding area and visit local restaurants as you wish. This option offers you a good balance between catering and flexibility.
Full board
Full board includes three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. This option is particularly suitable for guests who want to enjoy their stay as relaxed as possible and do not want to worry about organizing meals. You can concentrate fully on your program, while our host takes care of your physical well-being throughout the day.
The minimum flat rate corresponds to a course registration of 12 adults.
With the minimum flat rate, fewer than 12 people can also book a stay in the Zschokke-Haus.

The additional booking of meals is suitable, for example, for day guests who are not staying overnight in the Zschokke-Haus but would like to take part in a seminar or similar and the associated meals with the group.
You can also use this option for lunch if you get hungry but have booked the overnight stays with half board.
On special request, it is possible to have private laundry washed and tumble dried. However, as the washing machines are not always provided, this service must be arranged with the janitor.
